On March 2nd 2020, Riot Games revealed their highly anticipated tactical shooter video game, VALORANT. Known only so far by its codename “Project A”, Riot Games asked Worship to create a logo animation sequence to reveal their new title and branding.
– Art Direction
– Following the title announcement, we worked closely with the Riot brand team to develop the art direction leading up to the official game release in June 2020. Valorant Episode I: IGNITIONWe created graphic guidelines, key art posters, typographical illustrations, motion toolkits and a series of social videos to introduce each new agent featured in the game. The designs were developed as editable toolkits that were sent across the world to regional teams, each deploying the same visuals in their own country. The system was released in 17 languages including Korean, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, English and more.
